day two: puerto princesa - el nido, palawan

having a good night sleep at manager's pension house, we prepped ourselves for land travel towards el nido. staying at manager's place (forgot his name... we usually call him manager) for a night would cost php1500 with two double-sized beds, airconditioning, breakfast and can use the elevated swimming pool. after breakfast, we checked out and headed to the bus and shuttle terminal.

it was suppose to have an eight-hour trip by bus. instead, we took the shuttle van going to taytay-el nido. the travel cost php500 per person and would take 6-7hours trip. as for the roads, it was smooth going to the municipality of roxas... a few more kilometres, get ready for a bumpy ride. along the way, the scenery is very good with much of trees, farmland and eyesores such as remnants of kaingin system.

we reached el nido before sunset. as soon as we got ourselves an accomodation near the limestone cliffs (cliffside hotel), we hiked 2kms and headed towards the beach for the shoot.
