day four - secret lagoon, miniloc island, bacuit archipelago, el nido, palawan

after a long siesta at shimizu, the boatmen suggested that we move further and told us about the secret lagoon.

secret lagoon?!!

well, it's no secret at all. the place is located on the other side of miniloc island wherein you have to wade to a rocky shoreline and pass thru a small hole to find it. we got lucky since it was low-tide and i was able to bring my cam (wrapped in plastic), waded to a waist-deep water and passed thru a hole. inside, the water is green (probably deep) and it was surrounded by karsts.

outside the secret lagoon, we were curious about the yellow tents. we found out that they established a mini-hotel/resort for foreign tourists booked for the inter-island expedition/vacation.

before the low tide sets in, we travelled to our last destination...
