as household a name as marlboro, mcdonalds, kraft, the ford mustang is the longest surviving of the affordable breed of classic american muscle cars. sold always in coupe and most times in convertible and 2+2 fastback forms as well since its 1964 introduction, the ford mustang is the only one of the original pony cars to enjoy an uninterrupted production run. there are plenty of high-powered, high-revving, front-wheel drive, four-cylinder cars. the mustang does not compete with them. at the moment, it doesn't compete with anything. it's a mustang. period.

another gift from one of the founders of MES. this toy offers a lot of interior detail. the dark grey colors are matte (connoting carbon fiber in real cars), which made easy to photograph. shots taken using nikita (d300) and noni (60mm 2.8) on available lighting. scale 1:18
